Project Name: Maunalua Bay Boat Ramp Dredging

AMC was hired by the State of Hawaii to perform maintenance dredging at Maunalua Bay. Dredge material offshore was used as backfill to compact and level the upland facility which had eroded over the years. High quality dredge sand was capped on the local beach for a great improvement in the beach quality. The seawall on both ends of the Boat Ramp was upgraded with a newly driven sheet pile wall with a concrete cap for a stronger and longer lasting wall to protect further coastal erosion and aesthetic improvement to the park.
